I Saw the Funniest Thing at the Ballfield Yesterday…
A few weeks ago, I brought a pack of Jim's CBD samples to the baseball field and handed them out to the guys on the team.
I figured, Why not? Give it a try.
Well… apparently, it was a hit.
After games, the guys started telling me how good their bodies felt. The usual bumps, bruises, and soreness that come with playing a full baseball game seemed less noticeable to them, and pretty soon the little sample bottles were making their way around the dugout.
Then something funny happened.
The following week, I started noticing guys applying it before the game.
Apparently, they had figured out they liked having it around.
Week three came around.
Then yesterday was our last game.
And that's when I saw it.
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched our starting pitcher standing there before the game, trying to get the last few dropsout of his little Jim's CBD sample bottle.
He squeezed it.
Nothing.
Squeezed it again.
Still nothing.
He gave it one more shot, shook the bottle, squeezed…
Maybe one last drop.
Then he walked out to the mound.
I couldn't help but laugh.
I thought to myself:
"Buddy… you've been using that tiny sample for three weeks. I think it's time to buy the bottle."
And That's the Problem With Samples
We give people samples because we want them to experience Jim's CBD for themselves.
That's the whole point.
Try it.
See how you like it.
See how it fits into your routine.
But apparently, we're creating a new problem:
People love the sample so much they're trying to make it last forever.
And I get it.
Nobody likes spending money on something they haven't tried.
That's exactly why samples are so useful.
But if you've been carrying the same little bottle around for three weeks, applying it before baseball games, and squeezing it for the last drop before taking the mound…
You've already answered the question.
You like the product.
Now buy the bottle.
From the Dugout to Your Daily Routine
That's actually one of my favorite things about watching people discover Jim's CBD.
It starts with curiosity.
Someone tries it.
Then they use it again.
Then they start keeping it in their bag.
Then suddenly they're wondering where the next bottle is.
That's how a product becomes part of your routine.
For our baseball guys, it started with a few samples.
Now they're applying it before games and keeping what's left for afterward.
And that little pitcher?
I'm pretty sure his sample bottle officially retired yesterday.
So, How Do I Get These Guys to Pull the Trigger?
Maybe I don't.
Maybe I just let the empty bottles do the talking.
Because sometimes the best product recommendation isn't a sales pitch.
It's a guy standing on the field before the game, desperately trying to squeeze one last drop out of a three-week-old sample.
That's when you know the sample did its job.
Now, coach…
Buy the bottle.
